Saint Martin.

Saint Martin is an island in the northern part of the Eastern Caribbean. It is the smallest inhabited island in the world that is shared by two countries. The northern part of the island is the overseas community of France Saint-Martin while the southern partis a self-governing state of Sint Maarten, Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Saint-Martin Airport is unique in that it is located right on the waterfront, with planes landing directly over the heads of tourists sunbathing on Maho Beach. This is the most famous beach not only of Saint-Martin, but also of the Caribbean islands as a whole. An airplane taking off can start a wave with its thrust and blow you back into the water if you are standing at the wrong spot.
